Last year when President Trump took office, and things started changing for the worst, in my opinion, I kept having to tell myself that it wasn’t my problem and wouldn’t affect my lifestyle, and there was nothing I could do about it, anyway. This song echoes that sentiment. Enjoy, and have a great Saturday.

In my opinion, things are actually better. American unemployment has gone down and businesses are moving back home. North Korea is cowed for the most part. Syrians are realizing that Trump means business when he draws lines in the sand. I don’t like his blunt personality but, unlike former presidents, he’s actually getting things done.
I also have a Beatles rarities album where “Across the Universe” is recorded a full note higher than the Let It Be version. It was donated to the World Wildlife Fun back in 1968. I don’t know the reason for slowing down the recording and adding a choir. I guess the girls singing on the original weren’t as good.

Bruce, I’m afraid we’ll simply have to agree to disagree. As for the rare Beatles recording of the song, that’s interesting. Happy listening.
