SIPS OF WINE FROM THE WRITER’S GRAPEVINE: Little Apartment in the Big City by Abbie Johnson Taylor #Memoir #AuthorsThey’reOnlyHuman

Thanks to fellow blogger Patty Fletcher for sharing my memoir, “Little Apartment in the Big City.” It was supposed to be published in this month’s issue of The Writer’s Grapevine, along with a few other pieces I sent her. But technology gremilins had other plans. So, Patty is rectifying this. Stay tuned for more wine from the grapevine, courtesy of yours truly.

Pattys World

Good afternoon campbellsworld visitors.

As most of you know, I put out a monthly online magazine called, The Writer’s Grapevine. You also know that I’ve begun a column called Sips of Wine from the Writer’s Grapevine.

In this column I share anything from a special mid-month time sensitive announcement to a short story, poem or article that didn’t manage to make it into the latest issue.

Today, I’m setting right a mistake I made when putting together The Writer’s Grapevine August Harvest Edition.

Somehow, Abbie’s submissions didn’t go where I told them to go when I saved them and so when I did the magazine they weren’t in their correct place and so were forgotten.

Here for your enjoyment is the first of those submissions.

Please do feel free to comment to let us know your thoughts on her piece.

  1. Hi Abbie.

    Thanks for reblogging this.

I hope it came out OK, pictures and all.

I am now posting some things via the “Post By Email” option because this Blasted Block Editor’s driving me up the wall.

Some of it’s easy and some is not.

So if anything needs changed please let me know.

    Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.
