Welcome to another edition of Open Book Blog Hop. This week’s question is: “What do you wish you had an unlimited supply of?”
***
Of all the things I could wish for an unlimited supply, I would love Propel, a flavored bottled water that has no calories, no sugar, no nothing. My late husband Bill often had trouble urinating and moving his bowels because he wouldn’t drink enough water, being more partial to Mountain Dew and Pepsi.
It got so bad one night that I had to take him to the emergency room, where they performed two enemas and another procedure. After that, when one of our home health care aides told us about Propel, we were willing to try anything once.
Propel comes in several flavors such as grape, berry, and strawberry lemonade. One sip of the grape flavor, and Bill and I were hooked. You can read more about this in My Ideal Partner: How I Met, Married, and Cared for the Man I Loved Despite Debilitating Odds.
Now, almost nine years after Bill’s passing, I still drink Propel. I buy it by the case, and because it tastes better than tap water, I’m likely to drink more of it. During these hot summer months, it’s more important than ever to stay hydrated, even when you’re indoors. So, if tap water isn’t your thing, try Propel. Believe me, it’s worth the extra money.

How about you? Is there something of which you wish you had an unlimited supply? You can tell me about it in the comment field below or participate in this week’s blog hop and read what others have to say at this link.

New! The Red Dress
Copyright July 2019 by DLD Books
When Eve went to her high school senior prom, she wore a red dress that her mother had made for her. That night, after dancing with the boy of her dreams, she caught him in the act with her best friend. Months later, Eve, a freshman in college, is bullied into giving the dress to her roommate. After her mother finds out, their relationship is never the same again.
Twenty-five years later, Eve, a bestselling author, is happily married with three children. Although her mother suffers from dementia, she still remembers, and Eve still harbors the guilt for giving the dress away. When she receives a Facebook friend request from her old college roommate and an invitation to her twenty-five-year high school class reunion, then meets her former best friend by chance, she must confront the past in order to face the future.

Some stores have it, and some stores don’t. I hope you find it.

I’m a huge fan of carbonated water, usually unflavored but there are also some excellent fruit mixtures available in the U.K. I guess that’s the same thing.

Yes, except for the fact that propel is not carbonated. Thank you for reading and commenting.

I like it, too. It’s clean, yet tasty, and helps to get through a sweaty work day.

I have been really trying to drink lots of water, but sometimes it gets boring. I haven’t tried flavored waters – maybe they will break the boredom factor.

I know what you mean by tapwater being boring. Yes, I’m sure the flavored water will kill the boredom. I really like these Propel Waters. Thanks for reading and commenting.
