Saturday Song: C.W. McCall–Convoy

Last weekend, a few poets, myself included, made the six-hour drive across Wyoming from Sheridan to Cheyenne to attend a workshop. We traveled in two vehicles, not a great big convoy but a convoy all the same. We communicated with cell phones instead of CB radios. It reminded me of this song.

A fellow blogger recently solicited suggestions for a name of a group of poets. A convoy of poets was exactly what we were last weekend, and it was a lot of fun, not just the traveling. I hope we can do it again next month when we attend the Wyoming Writers conference in Dubois. Enjoy the song, and have a great Saturday.
