As I hope you know by now, my new novel, The Red Dress, is now available from Amazon and Smashwords. If it isn’t already, it’ll also be available from Apple, Barnes & Noble, and other resources. Smashwords offers books in a variety of accessible formats such as txt or pdf. But for those needing books in Daisy audio or text formats, it’ll eventually be available from Bookshare and through the Utah State Library’s talking book program.
I’m now looking for bloggers interested in featuring my book on their blog. I will provide a wraparound cover and a document containing a synopsis, excerpt, and more. If you’re interested, please use the contact form. I’ll need to know on what date you can post this information and a URL in case I’m not following you. When your feature goes live, I’ll re-blog it. If you’d like to review The Red Dress or interview me on your blog,, please let me know via the contact form, and I’ll send you an electronic copy.
Speaking of electronic copies, I’m giving one away to the first person who can answer this question. In My Ideal Partner, what was my late husband Bill’s favorite baseball team? If you haven’t read My Ideal Partner or need to refresh your memory, you can download it for free from Smashwords until the end of the month.. Once you have the answer, if you’re the first person to leave it in the comment field for this post, you’ll win a free electronic copy of The Red Dress. Good luck. I look forward to hearing from you.
When Eve went to her high school senior prom, she wore a red dress that her mother had made for her. That night, after dancing with the boy of her dreams, she caught him in the act with her best friend. Months later, Eve, a freshman in college, is bullied into giving the dress to her roommate. After her mother finds out, their relationship is never the same again.
Twenty-five years later, Eve, a bestselling author, is happily married with three children. Although her mother suffers from dementia, she still remembers, and Eve still harbors the guilt for giving the dress away. When she receives a Facebook friend request from her old college roommate and an invitation to her twenty-five-year high school class reunion, then meets her former best friend by chance, she must confront the past in order to face the future.
