On an April Afternoon (Poetry)

Image contains: Abbie, smiling. The poem of mine that I’m re-blogging today appears in my collection, That’s Life: New and Selected Poems, and was published in The Weekly Avocet. You can also read it on my website.

I wrote it on an April afternoon, while sitting in my back yard, inspired by what I observed. Since then, the tree house has been taken down, so no more birds will be trapped there.

Saturday is for Sharing

Image contains: Abbie, smiling.I know it isn’t Saturday, but Pennsylvania author and artist Lynda McKinney Lambert and her cat, Miss Opal, offer a great opportunity for authors. I was featured here, and it brought me some good exposure. Check it out.

Update, clients, and more

Image contains: Abbie, smiling. As I said yesterday, my friend and fellow blogger Patty Fletcher has hit some rough times. Today, things are looking up. However, she is stepping back for a while as a result of not only technical difficulties but her guide dog’s medical issues as well. Until she’s completely back on her feet, I encourage you to look through posts on her blog by the people she represents and share them in an effort to continue promoting who she calls her totally talented clients. I’ll be doing the same from time to time. I thank you, and Patty thanks you.
