This week’s Open Book Blog Hop topic is holiday television programs. I don’t watch television anymore, but the family in my latest book, Why Grandma Doesn’t Know Me, has a tradition of watching a specific movie the night after Thanksgiving. So, tune in here Wednesday and/or read the book to find out what that movie is. Meanwhile, here’s Stevie to tell you about holiday programs she likes to watch.

To be honest Sam and I are not avid TV watchers. We prefer to be outside walking or cycling if the weather is good and there’s any spare time when we’re not meeting up with the family.

Hi Abbie, now this is a nice way to promote your book, and give them a little peep at the book and reason to want to read more.
Love it!

Thanks Abbie for the shout-out. I do watch television, but mostly documentaries and quizzes.

You’re welcome, Stevie. I used to watch game shows and soap operas on television when I was young, but now, my tastes have changed in my old age. There doesn’t appear to be much of anything on television. So, I don’t even subscribe to cable. I get enough entertainment from books, magazines, and podcasts. Thank you for commenting.

In my book, Bubba Tails from the Puppy Nursery At The Seeing eye, there is an extra story at the end called Wish of the Wee Golden. The story was inspired by the events which took place during Frosty the Snowman which happens to be my favorite holiday show.
